Herrmann’s Royal Lipizzans Performance: Self-drive Day Trip

Join OLLI-USF for a day trip to Myakka City to see a performance of the world-famous Herrmann’s Royal Lipizzans on April 18, 2026. The performance begins at 10:00 a.m. so plan to arrive by 9:30 to park, get your ticket and reserved seat. The Lipizzan horse is one of the rarest breeds in the world. They are known as being the ‘ballerinas of the horse world’ as well as war horses capable of advanced combat maneuvers. Majestic and proud, these diamonds of Hapsburg royalty are on the endangered species list. Transportation is the responsibility of each OLLI member. Mobility issues are addressed with reserved parking and seating. Discounted tickets for OLLI members are available the day of the performance at the box office for $15 each.
