The current support for aging mostly involves the medical, biological, nutritional, exercise interventions, but lacks help for the emotional challenges of aging. Howard Seeman, Ph.D. Social Psychology/Philosophy, New School for Social Research, will discuss the loss of self-worth, social connections, dealing with isolation, caregiving, and the anxiety of mortality. You will learn the knowledge and skills to better handle these neglected areas for yourself and our loved ones.
