Description

Often overlooked in Western literary canons, the Mahabharata stands among the world's greatest works of literature. In this lecture, Sanjana Komarina, an undergraduate student at USF, examines the ancient Indian epic where religion, mythology, and morality intersect at a time when gods and mortals coexisted. Covering a narrative that unfolds over the span of 80-90 years, the lecture explores the epic’s central characters and enduring moral questions, offering insights into how this timeless story continues to speak to the human experience.
