Full course description

Description

A president’s character strongly shapes the tone and effectiveness of their administration, influencing decision-making, leadership style, and public trust. For example, Abraham Lincoln’s humility and resolve helped unify the nation during crisis, while Richard Nixon’s secrecy and mistrust contributed to the Watergate scandal and weakened his presidency. Throughout history, qualities like integrity, empathy, and transparency have often determined how successfully a president governs and how their administration is remembered.
