In this class we will contrast Putin with Xi, Stalin, Hitler, Churchill, and FDR; review his initial economic success, mistakes, strategies, and alliances; examine his corruption and dodging of international sanctions; recount the censorship and alleged assassinations; and discuss actions to counter his aggression in Georgia, Crimea, Ukraine, and the Arctic.
