Full course description

Description

Cartography consists of many skill areas and it turns out women were involved in all of them. The first woman who made a world map lived in the 10th Century. The theory of continental drift was proved by map data accumulated by a woman born in 1920. We'll look at 50+ maps, along with more than three dozen women who were making maps throughout history.
