Sonja faced the unimaginable horrors of Nazi concentration camps while John survived the atomic bomb in Nagasaki as a prisoner of war. Their daughter, author, speaker, and cancer survivor Roslyn Franken, weaves their extraordinary tale of survival and love in her award-winning book, Meant to Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles, and Triumph of the Human Spirit. In her lecture, Roslyn will share inspiring lessons from her parents' journey, offering insights to help us navigate our own challenges.
