Full course description

Description

Flamingos are flocking to Florida for the first time in over a century, giving us an unexpected second chance to create a safe haven for them. What do they need from us? What can they teach us about Florida’s past, present, and future? Hilary Flower is a member of the Florida Flamingo Working Group and is writing a book on the topic. This Zoom talk was given at the Florida Birding and Nature Festival in April 2026. It will be introduced by Festival President Ann Paul.
