Description

Plan your garden using containers to beautify your garden or patio. Discuss plant selections, and design a planter you choose for spring and summer enjoyment. Learn about plants that are "Proven Winners," companion plants, planting for pollinators, and incorporating a trellis.

A $20 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.

Instructor Margaret Ostrenko

Margaret "Peg" Ostrenko ( has a doctorate in communication from USF and a lifelong interest in nature. She has taught at local universities. Peg has created an ecological paradise for butterflies in her yard and shows her unusual plants at PegsPlants on Etsy.
