Do you sometimes feel stuck in worry, fear or anxiety and wish you had better tools to calm your body and mind? Anxiety is one of our most common struggles, but it doesn't have to control your life. This class will explain what anxiety is, why it happens, and how you can respond in healthy ways. We'll explore practical strategies you can use right away to manage stress and calm your body and thoughts so you can feel more in control of your life.

Kay McAuliffe, LCSW, CCTP 11, holds a master's in social work from USF. She retired from Gracepoint Wellness after serving for twenty-seven years as a therapist in community mental health, specializing in trauma.
