Full course description

Description

Every patient needs an advocate, and an effective patient advocate knows how to clearly and assertively communicate for safe and effective health care. Learn the basics of patient advocacy with a review of basic patient rights, tools and communication techniques both written and verbal, to use in either outpatient and hospital settings. Our goal is to equip you to become a navigator and wingman for patients facing today's complex, and sometimes frustrating, health care system.
